Public Sector
Narok County's CLTS pipeline, digitized
Challenge
Narok County Government was running its Community-Led Total Sanitation program on paper. Community Health Volunteers filled registers by hand at the village level, sub-county officers compiled them up the chain, and county leadership received aggregates that were delayed and inconsistent. Visibility into which villages had been triggered, followed up, or verified for ODF status was patchy at best.
What we did
- 01Built a custom mobile application for Community Health Volunteers to capture triggering, follow-up monitoring, and household-level data offline.
- 02Designed a backend dashboard for Public Health Officers and sub-county coordinators to monitor village progress and surface bottlenecks in the ODF journey.
- 03Migrated existing paper records into the digital system.
- 04Trained CHVs and county staff on the new workflow, with field support during rollout.
